ExecProtect Worldwide was founded by John G. Savage, a decorated public safety leader with over 35 years of experience in law enforcement, military service, and executive protection. John served the City of Houston for more than three decades, rising from patrol officer to Chief of Staff under the Office of the Chief of Police — where he supervised over 100 officers and civilians, and oversaw security operations for Mayors, Chiefs of Police, visiting Presidents, Governors, and members of international royal families.

A graduate of the FBI National Academy, a Licensed Private Investigator, a Certified State Mediator, and a Professor of Public Affairs, John has successfully conducted safety and security assessments at stadiums, arenas, universities, churches, and private residences for some of the most highly recognized figures in the country. He is also highly sought-after by prosecutors as an expert witness on federal, state, and local law enforcement and security matters.

Since 2011, John has led ExecProtect Worldwide full-time as Founder & CEO, building the firm into a trusted security partner for corporations, VIP clients, and private individuals worldwide. He founded it on a simple conviction: that integrity, discretion, and character are not optional in this business. They are the business.
